If yes, you need to be careful of the message that your Facebook profile may be sending to prospective employers. While Facebook does provide you with the ability to limit who can see your Facebook information, most users don’t restrict access. Since Facebook access is by school, what’s the harm, right? Well some employers are now accessing Facebook as an alumnus or through recent grads or interns already working for their company. Facebook may not be as private as you think. So do one of two things: either clean up your Facebook profile, or restrict access to those whom you invite into your network.
